ALIS

Koç University Academic and Life Skills (ALIS) Program is a student-focused self- development program that aims to help students raise self-awareness and build soft skills that are needed in academic, personal, and professional life. These skills include communication, relationship management, time management, stress management, goal setting, team membership, and leadership skills.

The program offers 4 mandatory and elective courses to students at various levels of their undergraduate journey, and skill-building workshops for graduate students. Facilitated by psychologists, these courses are experiential in nature and employ reflective exercises to reach the learning outcomes. The program has recently been evolving to increase its emphasis on topics such as resilience, engagement, and prosocial behavior.
