Let’s Be United is a project that aims to increase social connections and break prejudices between local and immigrant peers in the secondary school age range. This project consists of 7 workshops that intend different aims and we, as KU Global Aid, were inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals such as gender equality while creating these workshops. We encourage everyone to follow SDGs to find sustainable solutions to the world’s current problems.

As KU Global Aid we were in Gaziantep between 12-18 April, 2022 in order to implement Let’s Be United.

The Impact Entrepreneurship Program, organized in cooperation with İşbank and Vehbi Koç Foundation, and carried out by KWORKS and WORKUP, is a program that aims to support the scaling of technology-based initiatives that create or have the potential to create measurable, sustainable, social and environmental impacts in designated focus areas.

At the ‘ELC for Kids’ summer camp, which was held between July 4 and August 12, where children aged 6-12 practice English by doing different activities, a series of workshops were given to 30 groups on nature-friendly/environmentally sensitive life. In the workshop named ‘Being an Environmental Hero’, the 3R (Reduce – Reuse – Recycle) that forms the basis of environmentally sensitive life was discussed and activities were carried out for each of them.
